He snatches his senses back -- wondering, a little, at the familiar spark he'd found in the middle of that great ballooning feeling. He feels suddenly invigorated, restless, wild -- and it feels as if he can see the plants growing, sucking up that raw power and reaching up to the sun.

"Will?" Rhys asks again, taking his elbow. "You haven't been ill again, have you?"

"No, it's -- I don't know, I probably got up too fast." Will smiles, putting embarrassment into it, and all the tricks you learn so you don't get the blame, when you're the youngest in a big family.

Underneath that, his brain is racing, his heart is pounding.

"I think I should see Bran," he says, aloud. Rhys nods a little, smiles, the expression a little odd -- but maybe that's the wildness again, curling around everything.

"I think he'd like that. He's a queer one, he is," Rhys says, and then quickly, "Not that I don't like him. I'm not an idiot. I'm not like those fools down in Tywyn who think he'll set a curse on them. I like Bran, but he's..."

"He's something else," Will says, understanding better than Rhys could ever dream.
