It's so many betrayals in one: betrayal of a husband, betrayal of a friend, betrayal of a liege lord, betrayal of a crowned monarch, betrayal of the chivalric ideal... And that wouldn't bother me so much, but the way they always try to hide it and excuse it in the stories... god, no.
