Notes: I never thought I would read Anne of Green Gables fic, and I probably never will again. But this is lovely and tender and perfect.

Teaser: Whenever they fuck, it’s almost like being back in the barn of the night they first met. Dean didn’t know what Castiel was, then, but the point was that he, life-long hunter and all-around bad-ass, could feel in his gut that he was in the presence of something that belonged on the farthest end of the spectrum of humanity, more other than any of the spooks and spirits that made up his day job. For the first time in a long time, Dean felt something very close to awe.
A lot has changed since then. Castiel has become Cas, familiar and touchable.
But that doesn’t mean that Dean can forget what he is.
Notes: Inhuman!Castiel is one of my favourite things in fic right now.

Teaser: He frowns at himself in the mirror and his freakish new face frowns back.
He's still fairly tall but now there are boobs, and the weird new girl face. Which is, disturbingly, still recognisably him, just a girl-shaped version of him. All soft curves and messy short girl hair that makes him look sort of fierce and...hell, sassy. Yeah, that's whole parallel universe levels of weird. Even taking into account an average day for them.
Ok, he'll admit, girl-version of him is hot, and he has to spend a long moment wondering if that's kind of like admitting that he'd bang his own sister. And, yeah, that's maybe a little bit wrong but he figures under the circumstances he gets a free pass. Under the circumstances.
Notes: The sex is hot and exploratory and fun, and Dean's attitude to it all is so Dean.

Sharpen Your Teeth, by

Rating: NC17 [warning: bloodplay]
Teaser: Dean freezes, because that tone is ingrained in him in ways he probably doesn’t want to think about right now. Castiel twists just enough to throw the knife, one smooth flick of his arm that buries the blade to the hilt in the dresser. Dean’s mouth goes dry and he lets Castiel ease him back against the bed with his free hand, every inch of his skin prickling with sudden desire. The blood is already dripping down to Castiel’s elbow, dark against his pale skin.
Notes: This has Castiel being somewhat otherworldly and different and I love that.

Driver Picks, by

Teaser: Well, fine. It appeared Sam was going to have to entertain himself, maybe take Dean's mind off the music, off the road, off the rules. He sighed, exaggerating, overly dramatic, and sank back into his seat. He spread his legs, stretching one foot into the foot well and hitching the other knee up to press against the arm rest on the inside of the door. Dean glanced over, disinterested, and then back at the road, tilting his head back. Sam wanted to reach out and touch: the light prickle of stubble on Dean's jaw, the stretch of his soft, worn t-shirt over his chest and arms, the drop of sweat sneaking its way down the back of Dean's neck.
"Take a picture, bitch," Dean grumbled, "it'll last."
Notes: Hee. The summary says it all, "Driver picks the music, shotgun wants attention."

A New Country, by

Teaser: "I can put the Led Zeppelin tape back in, but…" Dean’s about to tell Cas that it’s no big, in fact it’s totally fucking fine if listening to something he actually enjoys that Dean, gasp, doesn’t even know, makes it a little easier, except that’s too fucking patronizing, when Cas lifts his chin, eyes a little too bright. "I believe someone once decreed: driver picks the music."
Dean kisses him then, has to – aside from the tiny roadhouse they're in the middle of nowhere – and Cas tastes dusty and salty and coppery and maybe, just maybe they can make a bit of home in the borderland.
Notes: I love the build-up of this. ♥
