Why not?

Name a character (or characters) and I'll tell you all the pairings with them that I like (or have considered for any length of time), and what I think of all of them.

Fandoms: Supernatural, The Sandman, Kushiel's Legacy, Final Fantasy, GetBackers, Digital Devil Saga, Persona 3, etc, etc. Give me as many as you like.

John/anyone is one I haven't put much thought into. While I love JDM, John as a character rubs me the wrong way. But Dean/Jess is definitely an interesting one.

Basch/Gabranth is where it's at for me, although I think of him as the mother hen of the group and can honestly see him with anyone, one way or another. (Exception being Vaan, who I just dislike in general.)

I couldn't see John having a relationship with anyone, after Mary's death, that wasn't effed up. Obviously especially involving Sam and Dean. But. As this John/Dean guilt!sex drabble proves (don't read it if John/Dean squicks you, ppl) I'm kind of in it for the arghthisiswrong sense.

Vaan would be too immature for Basch...
