Snippet - Trick question
Fandom: Final Fantasy X-2
For: Gippal/Baralai longfic?

"So!" Rikku jammed her elbow into Gippal's ribs in a way that most people took to be friendly, even if Gippal grunted a little in surprise and possibly pain. "Who's prettiest, do you think? Yuna, Paine -- or Baralai?"
"Is that a trick question, Riks?" he asked, grinning a little. "Because I really have to go for option D, and say you're the prettiest -- just in case."
"Flirt," she said, accusingly. "I know you prefer boys anyway. I haven't forgotten discussing boys with you, mister!"
"I wouldn't say Baralai is pretty," Gippal protested, but his eyes were on Baralai all the same. Rikku noted with interest that he hadn't so much as glanced at anyone else, except her when she'd elbowed him, since Baralai had come into his line of sight. "Although he's definitely... attractive. Yuna is... beautiful, and Paine would stab my other eye out if I said anything about her."
