I studied them and still love them. ♥ It always annoyed me how people in my class disparaged them, and that plus me rereading The Iliad plus a post that was quite mean about The Aeneid = this post. xD

Bonus silly note: The Aeneid was actually the module that I did badly on which resulted in me not going to university. 8D But I loved it so and I was actually really good at it in mock exams (I once got full marks on the whole paper!), so heaven only knows what happened during the exam.
